Privacy Policy
What personal data RouteRTL collects, why, and how to exercise your rights.
Who is responsible
RouteRTL is operated by Daniel J. Mazure, Zurich, Switzerland. We process personal data under the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP) and, for users in the European Union, the GDPR.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you register or request a trial.
- A machine identifier for the trial, so a trial can be tied to one machine.
- Basic usage and check-in logs from the RouteRTL tools and registry, which may include your IP address.
- Registry account details and the IP submissions you make.
- Messages you type into the “ask routertl” chat, if you use it. They are sent to Anthropic to generate an answer.
- Anonymous visit statistics for this website.
- Anything you send us by email or on Discord.
Why we collect it
To operate and secure the trial and the registry, to answer your questions, and to contact you about your account or trial. We do not sell personal data.
Legal basis (nFADP / GDPR): performing the service you asked for, our legitimate interest in securing it, and your consent where we ask for it.
Who processes it
We use service providers for hosting (Fly.io, Frankfurt region, and Vercel), for transactional email, and for the chat answers (Anthropic).
The licence token’s knowledge_sharing flag is not wired yet. Wiring it requires updating this page first.
Your rights and how to reach us
You can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you can object to its processing. Write to privacy@routertl.dev. For retention details, ask us at the same address.
