Terms of Sale

How seats and Enterprise licences are ordered, paid, delivered and renewed.

Draft, pending owner approvalVersion draft-2026-10-25

Seller and buyer

The seller is Daniel J. Mazure, Zurich, Switzerland, trading as RouteRTL. The buyer is the organization named on the order. Licences are sold to organizations only, not to consumers.

What you buy

A seat is a licence for one named engineer of the buyer. An Enterprise licence covers the buyer's whole company, in the band of active RTL engineers it was ordered for. Each runs for 12 months. Use of the software is governed by the RouteRTL Core License 1.0; these terms do not change it.

Price and VAT

Prices are in Swiss francs, per year, as stated on the pricing page when the order is placed. For a buyer in Switzerland or Liechtenstein, Swiss VAT at 8.1% is added when the seller is registered for Swiss VAT. A buyer in the EU gives its VAT number and accounts for VAT itself (reverse charge). For a buyer elsewhere, no Swiss VAT is charged. The order confirmation and the invoice state the treatment.

Payment

Seats are paid by card at checkout or by invoice. Enterprise licences are paid by invoice, with a purchase order number if the buyer gives one. Invoices are due within 30 days.

Delivery

The licence keys are sent by email to the billing email within 1 business day after payment is received. There is one key per named seat, or one key for an Enterprise licence. The licence term starts when payment is received.

Renewal

A licence does not renew by itself. We send a reminder 30 days before the term ends. A renewal ordered before the term ends starts when the current term ends, so no days are lost. A seat key keeps working for 7 days after the term ends. An Enterprise key has no grace period.

Money-back guarantee

The terms of the money-back guarantee are given by email before purchase, on request to support@routertl.dev.

Law and jurisdiction

Swiss law applies. The courts of Zurich, Switzerland, have jurisdiction.
